Gamilaroi, Santos, Native Title, Water & Truth Telling

Dr Waters will share his experiences as a Native Title Applicant for the Gomeroi/Kamilaroi Aboriginal Nation and the controversial $3.6 billion Santos Narrabri gas project in the Pilliga, one of the most sacred areas of the Gomeroi Nation together with his being an Executive Member of the Northern Basin Aboriginal Nations (NBAN) representing 22 Sovereign First Nations in the Northern Murray Darling Basin.

2021 MHIQ Seminar Series - Developing an Industry Engagement Model

Associate Professor Andrew Bulmer's presentation will outline the development of an industry (encompassing any external entity) engagement research model that also generates income to support independent research activities. Key topics including: defining areas of research capacity (from an industry perspective); how to attract and initiate collaboration with external partners and; how to develop a sustainable partnership/funding model, will be presented.
