POSTPONED - Science and Engineering Challenges

Griffith Science Education Alliance in partnership with Rotary hosts four Science and Engineering Challenges in South-East Queensland. Our Scheduled events have been postponed as at 23 March, 2020. New dates may be proposed later in the year.
The Challenge is open to all schools with a hotly contested 8 school places each day. Schools can register teams of up to 32 students from Year 9 and 10.

Cancelled - The STEM Ambassador Conference is the premiere event for Griffith Sciences STEM Ambassadors and their teachers.

This leadership conference gives STEM Ambassadors the opportunity to receive leadership training and plan their school's individual action plan and strategy. Held during World Science Festival, it inspires students to be STEM leaders on a world stage.

The 2020 Academic Bootcamps are high-quality courses designed to assist students to achieve their full academicpotential by improving confidence and understanding in senior subject areas, reducing anxiety around assessment while preparing students for future tertiary study.
Subjects offered will be Maths Methods, Chemistry, Physics & Biology.

Gold Coast Schools Science Competition

The Gold Coast Science Competition aims to raise the profile of STEM and encourages students to demonstrate their STEM abilities by entering a project into one of five categories.

Date - 7-10 September, 2020
Drop off Entries -7 September, 2020 - between 9am-3pm
LOCATION - 9 Nexus Way, Health & Knowledge Precinct, Southport.
