The BiG Day In Gold Coast event is for year 9-12 school students to explore careers in technology. This event held in the G40 Auditorium on 15 August helps students gain insight into "university life' and are able to make better informed decisions about their future.

The Science and Engineering Challenge is aimed at engaging Year 5 and 6 students through fun and practical hands-on activities.

Griffith Science Education Alliance in partnership with Rotary hosts four Science and Engineering Challenges scheduled for South Brisbane on 4&5 June and 12&13 June at the Gold Coast. (Venues TBC)
The Challenge is open to all schools but there's only 8 school places each day. Schools can register teams of up to 32 students from Year 9 and 10.
