In this talk, Dr Chris Brown from Griffith's Australian Rivers Institute discusses why we're failing to conserve coastal ecosystems through three examples of sharks, shrimp and seagrass.

​Join Associate Professor Muthukkumarasamy, Muthu, as he examines how contact tracing Apps operate, the personal data collected and how it can be used. In particular, he will unpack the COVID Safe app and evaluate what controls users have and the privacy trade-offs. Muthu will also compare the Australian App with other solutions around the world, and scrutinise the balance as a tool to rebuild the economy whilst keeping the population as safe as possible.
