Learn from Southport State High School, Independent Public School and recent winner of the Excellence in Innovation in Curriculum Design category of the 2020 Australian Education Awards.You will learn how this school identified an opportunity to innovate education through the implementation of a schoolwide digital curriculum initiative, using Blackboard's eLearn platform as Learning Management System (LMS) with the intent to have a 21st century curriculum delivery model.

This presentation will present the findings of recent research that investigated the barriers preventing schools from implementing inclusive policy and identified a process that schools could use and implement inclusive school policy and support students with a range of needs in the real world context of school environments. School leaders will be provided with strategies for using the school improvement framework to help staff envision and implement inclusive school programs.
