Perspectives:Asia | In search of safe ground in the Pacific

John Rodsted has had a rich and varied career. He has worked as a photographer for 40 years, activist, parachute instructor, stuntman, author, film maker, wilderness guide, expedition leader and professor.

He has just returned from the United Nations in Geneva where he launched his book In Search of Safe Ground in the Pacific. This is a study of left over munitions throughout the Pacific from World War 2 and how they impact today's Pacific societies.

Dr Raden Mohammad Marty Muliana Natalegawa (Dr Natalegawa) served as the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Indonesia from 2009-2014 and currently serves as a member of the United Nations Secretary-General's High-Level Advisory Board on Mediation.

He is the author of a book titled Does ASEAN Matter? A View From Within.

MHIQ Program Seminar Series National Centre for Neuroimmunology & Emerging Diseases (NCNED). Professor Andreas Guse is a researcher pursuing interests in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology of cellular signal transduction and molecular mechanisms of T cell activation. He is also interested in immuno-pharmacology and the design of anti-inflammatory drugs, high resolution optical techniques for cell signaling research and research in medical education.
