Griffith University is hosting its second student Hackathon on the weekend 4 - 5 August 2018 at the Gold Coast Campus Library.

You will have the unique opportunity to design, develop and showcase a mobile application with the chance to win great prize money!

Are you ready to participate in over 30 hours of outstanding creativity and collaboration to transform your awesome ideas into reality? Have you got the creative genius, coding skills, advertising jingles or graphic skills to help build an app and spruik it?

You don't need to be a coder or tech savvy to take part in the Hackathon. Although we are definitely looking for techy students to write the code, teams will also require students with marketing, graphic design, project management or any other genius skills that can contribute to creating an awesome app.

Interested? Head to the Hackathon website and register via the online form. You can register as an individual, a pair or a group of three or four.

Get ready for 30 hours of hacking fun with guest speakers, delicious food and great prize money:

$2,000 - Winning Team

$1,000 - Runner-Up Team

$500 - Best UI Design

Registrations will be open until 5pm Friday 20 July 2018. Register now and share your creativity, experience and passion to work together with a bunch of cool people to create something new and amazing!
