Special screening of 2040, a film about hope and optimism by award-winning Director Damon Gameau

Join Griffith Business School and the Griffith Centre for Sustainable Enterprise for a special screening of 2040, a film about hope and optimism by award-winning Director Damon Gameau.

The film features Damon as he embarks on a journey to explore what the future would look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them into the mainstream. Structured as a visual letter to his 4-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision board of how these solutions could regenerate the world for future generations.

The film screening will be followed by a Q&A and panel discussion.

Canapés and refreshments will also be offered on the deck.

All proceeds of this event will be donated to the marine permaculture project in Tasmania featured in the film; a regenerative solution that sequesters carbon and restores balance to our oceans.
