2020 ANZSOC Conference

The 33rd Annual Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminology conference will be held at QT Gold Coast, Queensland, 8 - 10 December 2020.

For over three decades, the annual meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminology has brought together leading researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to promote the study, understanding, and effective practices of criminology.

The 2020 ANZSOC conference continues this tradition with the theme "JUSTICE IN DIALOGUE: confronting enduring problems of crime and justice in Australia and New Zealand.' Focus will be given this year in dialogue driven plenaries and panels to issues of reducing violence, institutional abuse, and the overrepresentation of First Nations peoples in the criminal justice system.

We invite and encourage participation from academic researchers, policy and government, practitioners, and community groups and members on these and other issues relevant to criminology and criminal justice in Australasia and internationally.

We look forward to seeing you on the Gold Coast!
