Are you looking for publication metrics for your promotion or grant application? Do you provide support for researchers in this area?

Explore your metrics in Web of Science, Incites, Scopus and Google Scholar as you:

• Work through a series of daily, self-paced modules.

• Join the facilitators on Friday afternoon for a live, online drop-in session to ask questions and discuss learnings.

• Connect with fellow participants on the Microsoft Teams collaboration space.

You will learn how to :

locate suitable sources of metrics

identify commonly used metrics

develop techniques to analyse outputs in the main bibliometric databases

understand responsible use of metrics

This workshop is suitable for researchers at any stage of their career but is particularly relevant to those who are considering applying for promotion in 2021 or putting together a grant application.

When

This workshop is run as a self-paced workshop via Teams from Monday, September 21st to Friday, September 25th, concluding with a drop-in Q&A session in Teams on Friday 25th September 1pm-2.30pm

You will be added to the Teams workshop the week before.
