Chris Rider will present on his role as CEO of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and share his learnings on leading through a generational change.
Following this, Jacqui Wilton, Director of the Curriculum Services Division of the QCAA, will share her reflections on what the work is going forward for all schools.

About Chris Rider
Chris has been the CEO of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) for 7 years. Leading the consultation, design, development and implementation of the new Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system, Chris has an extensive background in school and system leadership including principal roles in 3 schools for 12 years, as well as 3 senior executive roles including CEO spanning 15 years. His leadership is focused on achieving outcomes through a commitment to growing people inside a culture of trust and high expectation.
About Jacqui Wilton
Jacqui has been the Director of the Curriculum Services Division of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) for the past 7 years. Jacqui is an experienced school and system leader having held senior leadership roles over 10 years in some of Queensland's largest and most dynamic school contexts. She has driven and delivered complex large-scale reforms with deft stakeholder management and strong strategic capabilities. Jacqui's practical leadership experience and depth of theoretical insight has seen her recognised as an ambassador for the University of Queensland's Master of Business Administration program. Her leadership is marked by her ability to build capability, engender trust and pursue opportunities to innovate.
