This interactive workshop aimed at research academics focusses on impact beyond the academic environment. Did you know that you can plan your impact goal in advance? That stakeholders have the power to accept or reject the use of your research in their particular setting? That impact is about more than disseminating your research findings? This session will discuss 'what is impact', planning for impact and translation of research, inclusive of practical activities allowing you to work on how these may apply to your current research projects.

The session will also cover measuring and evidencing impact and includes a practical demonstration and Q and A of the new Symplectic Elements 'Records of Impact' tool (available soon). Practical tips and time for writing an impact narrative are included.

The workshop will be delivered on the following dates:

Monday 13 September: 9:30am-12:30pm

Tuesday 19 October: 9:30am-12:30pm

Wednesday 24 November: 9:30am-12:30pm
