OVER-TILLED - Regenerating our work-life landscape after burnout

It has been exhausting - the COVID-19 pandemic, working from home, working on solutions for pivoting to online work, home-schooling and an inability to plan effectively. Trying to maintain a strong passion for our organisations and industries, whilst juggling work-life balance with our families and our health has led to fatigue and burnout.

Dr Faith Valencia-Forrester has likened the exhaustion of these past years to regenerative agriculture, which takes a holistic approach to farming and land management via improving soil health and increasing biodiversity. Some argue this is a return to the old ways, which may be essential given that experts have suggested that parts of the earth's soil has been so stripped, cleared and degraded that it is unable to regenerate itself.

Faith will give an overview of this thoughtful and challenging topic and provide valuable solutions for those of us who may be feeling the effects of burnout. She will run an interactive session that focusses on listening to ourselves, identifying our own landscapes for regeneration and providing tools for biodynamic leadership.
