The Shadow's Edge is the outcome of an extended collaboration with generous participants/patients in institutional and community palliative care. The exhibition seeks to privilege the lived experiences of each participant/patient in distinctly aesthetic and affective terms. Understood through the agency of photography-where death and loss are simultaneously condition and subject-the artworks attempt to elucidate the quotidian routines, rhythms and rituals of medicalised life at the liminal brink.
