Planning for and Recording of Research Impact

Planning for and Recording of Research Impact
Planning for and Recording of Research Impact

Principal speaker

Louise Barnsbee

Research impact is the key pillar of Griffith's current Research and Innovation Plan. Planning for and recording of research impact is increasingly more important in the local and global research sector. Researchers are being asked by their collaborators what the plan for impact is, or what the impact of prior research is, in the context of granting applications, and by Universities in the context of impact reporting.

In this workshop Louise Barnsbee, Research Impact Coordinator from the Research Analytics and Policy Team, will demonstrate the updated Symplectic Elements Records of Impact software, which can be used to record research impact plans and research impact narratives for the purposes of tracking plans to maximise research impact, and for impact data collection and reporting purposes.
