The International Student Buddy Program is an opportunity for current students (Senior Buddies) to welcome you (Junior Buddy) as you start your journey at Griffith University.
In Trimester 2 2024, Senior Buddies will mentor a small group of Junior Buddies each. Your buddy group will act as a support network for you as you navigate through the first four weeks of university (please note that final buddy group sizes will depend on the final number of applications).
ELIGIBILITY
You MUST be an international full degree student in your FIRST trimester of study (UG or PG only). This program is not available for short term programs including Study Abroad and/or Exchange students.
You MUST register and attend the Buddy Meet & Match event on Friday 12 July from 10:30am - 12:00pm at the Gold Coast or Nathan campuses to participate in the International Student Buddy program.
To get the most out of the program, you will need to commit to a minimum of 3 meetings with your buddy group over 4 weeks. We also have a number of Griffith Mates events which are opportunities to have meetings with your buddy group (you must register to attend these events) or you can also schedule your own meetings/activities with your group.
