Notes is an evocative exploration of the intricate layers of human experience, delving into both personal and collective memory. The exhibition brings together a body of works that employ a cross disciplinary approach between painting and drawing, using erasure and chance as both a technique and a metaphor to explore the dynamic interplay between randomness and action on memory.
Situated between abstraction and figuration, the works in this exhibition evoke a sense of motion and transformation through forms that create ambiguous relationships and, at times, take on anthropological characteristics. These elements suggest the fluid nature of memory and the evolving nature of personal narratives. Viewers are invited to consider the past, present, and self as a constellation of dynamic forces, interconnected and shaped in many intricate ways by an array of influences and actions, constantly in flux and changing.
