Albert Assaf, PhD, is a leading figure in the field of Performance Modelling. Currently, he serves as the Editor in Chief of Tourism Economics, one of the premier journals in his area of expertise. Dr Assaf has an extensive background in research and education, having authored and co-authored over 150 publications related to economic performance, tourism, and transport economics. His scholarly contributions have significantly advanced understanding and knowledge in these fields. In addition to his research, Dr Assaf has been involved in numerous funded projects and has conducted a variety of seminars for both practitioners and academicians across different countries. His work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Research Achievement Award from ICHRIE, the Isenberg Outstanding Research Award, the Dean Research Excellence Award, the Isenberg Outstanding Teacher Award, and the University of Massachusetts Exceptional Merit Award.
