Learn good data organization practices using spreadsheets. Explore how to structure data in a way that computers can read it. This workshop is based on the Data Carpentry workshop for Social Scientists.
On completion of this workshop, participants will be familiar with:
- good data entry practices and formatting data tables in spreadsheets;
- how to avoid common formatting mistakes;
- approaches for handling dates in spreadsheets;
- basic quality control and data manipulation in spreadsheets.
