Join our library specialists to learn expert search techniques for systematic reviews. Using an example research question, you'll see demonstrations and engage in discussions on topics like search concepts, synonyms, adjacency searching, and subject headings (MeSH).

On completion of this workshop participants will be familiar with: - expert search techniques they can later apply to their own systematic style review - how to break-down a systematic style review question into key concepts in order to create an effective search strategy.

Ideal for: Health researchers planning or conducting systematic-style reviews (e.g., systematic, scoping, integrative).

Prerequisite: Familiarity with basic search techniques (Boolean, truncation, phrase searching) is required. Please review this guide and watch the 'Search techniques' video before attending: https://www.griffith.edu.au/library/research-publishing/working-with-literature/search-and-find-research-literature#build-your-search-strategy
