Professor Angus Ng
In this workshop, fundamental concepts in statistical inference will be presented. We will talk about numerical and graphical summaries of quantitative variables, and the characteristics of a normal distribution. We will discuss the role of sampling distribution in statistical inference and the use of confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and p-values. These topics are essential to interpret statistical analysis results.
