Information sessions about careers in secondary education

Information sessions for people interested in a career in secondary teaching (Graduate Diploma of Education – Secondary) will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at Nathan campus and Thursday, October 26 at the Gold Coast and South Bank campuses.

If you have a non-teaching undergraduate degree, the Graduate Diploma of Education — Secondary can set you on the path to a teaching career within a year.

The postgraduate program is offered by the Faculty of Education, one of the largest providers of teacher education in Australia.

It is a full-time, on-campus program available at the Gold Coast and Mt Gravatt campuses.

It can be completed in 12 months and provides eligibility for registration as a secondary teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers and graduates of the program enjoy strong employment outcomes.

As a secondary teacher you will not only have an interesting and rewarding career, you will also be shaping the future of the next generation.

The information sessions at the Nathan campus will be held in Room 0.05, Environment 2 Building (N13). The Gold Coast sessions will be held in Lecture Theatre 2 (G03) and the South Bank sessions will be held in room 1.23 of the Graduate Studies Centre (S07). All sessions will be held from 5pm to 6pm.
