An upgraded version of the Griffith Portal will be available, Thursday 1 May 2008. You can still access the portal’s sign in page via the Griffith Portal menu item on the university’s home page.
An upgraded version of the Griffith Portal will be available, Thursday 1 May 2008. The portal provides access to the new Griffith ___Intranet___, user-friendly navigation, single sign on, new “Faculty Centre” and the new “Student Centre”.
When you log into the new-look portal, you will notice the following:
- The portal is now your gateway to the Griffith Intranet, which provides specific web-based information for you as a student. You can access all the resources of the Intranet within the portal’s left-hand menu, or by using the Search Intranet box.
- The portal provides you with access to your student email, Learning@Griffith, the Griffith Intranet and the new Online Student Centre. Your portal home page can also be personalised to suit your needs. For more information on your personalisation and navigation options, please go to www.griffith.edu.au/griffith-portal-support.
- The portal’s new Online Student Centre provides access to your program, enrolment, financial and personal information from a single, useful summary page. This Student Centre replaces the functions previously under ‘About Me-Students’. It also features improvements to the online enrolment process, such as the new ‘Enrolment Cart’, which you can begin using from 10 June to select your classes for Semester 2, 2008. The introduction of this ‘cart’ means that you can get in early, so there will be less for you to do on the morning of open enrolments. You may also be interested in the new My Planner tool, which you can begin using any time to plan ahead for all of your future semester enrolments if you wish.
