Griffith University tops MBA field

Griffith University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) is rated as one of the best in the country, having received a five star rating for the seventh year in a row.

The Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) has honoured Griffith with five stars since the annual rating was introduced, and this year awarded Griffith’s International MBA the same five star honours.

Griffith Business School Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Michael Powell said it was a significant achievement to have been consistently recongised in this manner.

“To receive a five star rating for our MBA is a great coup for the School, but to receive the top rating for the past seven consecutive years is outstanding,” Professor Powell said.

“It is particularly pleasing to see the International MBA awarded a five star rating in only its second year featured in the ratings.

“This is a real affirmation of the hard work put in by Griffith Business School staff to keep the courses relevant to industry and student needs.”

Griffith is the only Queensland university to consistently receive five stars and one of only two universities nationally to achieve this feat.

The GMAA rating is based on staff and student quality, links with industry and overseas schools, curriculum, facilities, graduate outcomes and more.
