The Celebrating Student Leadership at Griffith annual events focus on peer mentoring as an expression of student leadership and recognise the contribution of student mentors and mentoring coordinators. This is the fourth year that the events have been conducted. Two events were scheduled in September and took place on the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses.
In 2012, over 950 students participated as mentors in 44 programs across Griffith. Over 100 of these students mentored in more than one mentoring program (11.5%).
