Emma Trapski and Jennifer Schwarz admit to being envious of the opportunities being offered to future Griffith Business School students on the Gold Coast.

“As a former student it’s fantastic to see infrastructure develop around the university which will only benefit future students,” says 2011 graduate Emma.

“It definitely increases my appreciation and affection for a place that is already close to my heart.

“With the objective of transforming business on the Gold Coast, Griffith is encouraging its students to connect with local industries.

“Through these developed relationships it’s hoped that graduates will decide to stay in the city to advance their careers and make worthwhile contributions to the local business community.”

Emma’s marketing and international business degree helped her secure an executive position with Brisbane-based multi-media, video production and marketing company, PDA Studios.

Jennifer, who also graduated in 2011, has applied her double business degree in human resource management and tourism to its full potential as HR Coordinator with theme park heavyweight Dreamworld,

“To be able to develop my career working in such a fun environment on the Gold Coast is a real blessing after completing my studies at Griffith,” says Jennifer.

Meanwhile, Monique Jeremiah is another who doesn’t need any coaxing to extol the virtues of the education fostered within the Griffith Business School.

The 2008 graduate is now an entrepreneur and sole director/owner of three successful companies – Exceptional Group, Exceptional Tuition and Resumes and Exceptional Training.

“Without question I’d rate Griffith University as number one for students wanting to attain a business degree within an environment that fosters quality education and best practice industry standards,” says Monique.

“This new building only adds to the appeal of the Griffith Business School. I look forward to maintaining active involvement with the university as I expand my own business interests nationally from our Gold Coast and Brisbane bases.”
