Collaboration with the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City

President of BUH and delegation meeting Griffith University academics and staff

The President and Rector, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City (BUH) and delegation, made a recent visit to Griffith University to attend the opening session of an Australian Awards Fellowship (AAF) program which was organised by Griffith’s International Business Development Unit (IBDU) for BUH and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) delegates. The delegation attended various meetings and seminars during their visit from 6 — 9 July 2015.

Celebrating its 40-year anniversary in 2016, BUH is now in a position to accept only the top ten percent of graduates into its programs in finance, banking and business administration.

As one of the top three banking and finance universities in Vietnam, BUH is an important partner for the Griffith Business School (GBS). The School of Accounting, Finance and Economics (AFE) has an established collaboration with BUH.

With 133 countries currently being represented at Griffith, Vietnamese students rank in the top ten, demonstrating the importance of this region and in particular, this partnership in Griffith’s overall commitment to Asian engagement. Griffith now has a wide range of rich and diverse connections with Asia across many of its academic disciplines, engaging students and staff on all of its campuses.
