Feel what it’s like to be a Griffith Student this Open Day

Double degrees are fast becoming the best way to drive your future prospects and Griffith’s Open Day is the one-stop-shop where you can learnprecisely what you need to know to improve your career options.

Spread across three of the university’s campuses at Nathan, Gold Coast and South Bank, Open Day on Sunday, July 23, cananswer your questions regarding future study and career choices.

In 2018, Griffith will offer a slew of new industry-related double degrees including Griffith Business School’s new Bachelor of Business combined with a Bachelor of Creative and Interactive Mediapreparing students for careers in the burgeoning creative technology industry.

In science, exploreour new double degrees combining aBachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Aviation and also Bachelor of Environmental Science combined with a Bachelor Business.

For those looking at studying physiotherapy, Griffith will unveil its new 4 year Bachelor of Physiotherapy program which will be run at both Nathan and Gold Coast.

And those with a more artistic bent, Open Day will showcase Griffith’s new Bachelor of Actingcourse which has attracted international endorsements from the likes of Joanna Lumley and Dame Judi Dench. Southbank is the campus to visit toinquire about this unique opportunity.

Griffith University’s historic partnership with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games will be a majortheme of Open Day on all campuses.

AtNathan, business student and endurance track cyclist, Kristina Clonan will be at the Griffith Sports College booth to talk about her Griffith University and GC2018 Sporting Excellence Scholarship.Kristina will also be in the Red Zone where a VR bicycle created by Griffith Sciences will give visitors a chance to take a virtual ride around the Anna Meares Velodrome, which will host track cycling at theGold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Plenty to do

The wonder of science will also be showcased across Gold Coast and Nathan campuses. Create sherbert, magic mud and lots of other gooey and fascinating items at theInteractive Science show. If crime investigations are of interest, visitors can find out what a crime scene looks like and hear from ourforensic science expertson what type of physics and chemistry is used to help solve a crime.

Visitors can create their own artwork on thedigital graffitiwall in our Gold Coast and Nathan Red Zones. If striking enough, your handiwork could find its way on to digital billboards around Brisbane.

All day campus tours, drone displays, financial trading room tours, and other captivating events combine to ensure the day is a rewarding experience.

Open Day visitors also have the chance towin seats to a session of the Commonwealth Games Swimming Finals. Simply enter the draw at both Nathan and Gold Coast to have a chance at winning a Fast Lane GC2018 experience.
