Candace Kruger's research Yarrabil Girrebbah Singing Indigenous Language Alive - Thinking, Gathering, Dreaming: A Songwoman's Methodology of Cultural Awakening; captures the songwoman's work, demonstrates one way in which an Aboriginal community are reconstructing Aboriginal knowledge for sustainability and legacy outcomes, and addresses the issue of how Indigenous methodologies challenge ethnomusicological understandings of Aboriginal Music.
