As a research project, Reflect, Repeat and Reparations has sought to understand what it is to identify as a woman, a mother, a daughter, and how intergenerational relationships between these women in turn inform the living experience of the other.
This project has engaged in dialogue with a range of participants connected to rural and regional women's communities in South-East Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory in order to inform and enrich my own practice.
This is insider research, undertaking a study of myself, through the examination of the women in my family and the communities that I have come to call home in my lifetime.
