Alex is a PhD researcher from KU Leuven in Belgium, currently delving into the world of consumer electronics repair. His project? Developing business strategies to make repairing consumer electronics more commonplace. Right now, he is in Australia, wrapping up a six-month research trip. He is exploring how the electronics repair industry operates here, comparing it to the scene back in Belgium, and identifying potential lessons each can learn from the other. Alex will be joined by Professor Leanne Wiseman, ARC Future Fellow, Law Futures Centre.


The LFC would like to invite you to a seminar by Professor Leanne Wiseman and our Visiting PhD Scholar, Alex Bunodiere. Together they will look at the lessons from Belgium and Australia in relation to Upscaling Repair of small household electronics.
