2024 Science & Engineering Challenge

Science and Engineering Challenge for YEAR 9 & 10 STUDENTS  Cost : $550 (incl GST)

The Science and Engineering Challenge is a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with Griffith University, Rotary clubs and sponsors. The Challenge runs a range of programs but focuses on inspiring students in year 10 to consider a future career in science and engineering by choosing to study the enabling sciences and mathematics in years 11 and 12. The Gold Coast/South Brisbane Science and Engineering Challenge hosted by Griffith University and Rotary is excited to offer a unique opportunity for local students to experience a side of science and engineering they may not have encountered before.

Students will unleash their creativity on the 2024 Challenge season during the week beginning Tuesday June 4th.

4/5 June - South Brisbane - Park Ridge State High - Park Ridge

12/13 June -  Gold Coast - All Saints Anglican College - Merrimac

Registrations will open Term 2, 2024

LIMIT of one place per school and are only secured once payment has been received. The event allows 8 schools per day so once this quota is reached,
the event is considered SOLD OUT.
