3892ENV Marine Capstone Field Trip

This is the 20cp Capstone course for students completing the Bachelor of Marine Science, or the Marine Biology major within the Bachelor of Science. It is designed to bring together the knowledge gained over the previous semesters in designing, carrying out and reporting on a hands-on investigation into a topical aspect in coral reef ecology. The field trip is preceded by workshop sessions over 6 weeks, then 6 days of intensive fieldwork at Heron Island Research Station on the southern Great Barrier Reef.
