Paul Bai T-shirt

This limited-edition t-shirt is a continuation of Paul Bai’s ongoing series of works featuring two points visualised as two large round dots. This social performance work, titled ‘The Infinite Distance between Two Points (No.8)’ 2021, uses the curved edges of round dots to highlight a geometrical and mathematical fact that we can never get the exact distance between these two points. The casual movements of people wearing the t-shirts, and the subsequent tentative distance between them, will demonstrate the temporal and indeterminate spatial relationships between ourselves — the distance between these two dots has both personal and social implications that often needs constant readjustment.
Washing Instructions: These t-shirts have been hand screenprinted and as such will fade with washing. To best preserve the t-shirt, handwash or gentle cycle in cold water only.
