For this first-time delivery as a seminar, we will describe how the research method that researchers choose will inform the kinds of ethical issues they will have to address in an ethics application. We explain that placing method at the centre of research ethics starts by acknowledging how method directly shapes your choice of instrument, as well as the protocol for using that instrument.
