BSI Research Seminar: Networked risk, and a case of an "almost" disaster in the world's happiest country
Isabell Storsjö will present a series of interconnected events and failures in a specific area in Finland that could have turned into disaster. After the hottest summer ever in Finland, an area that also experienced an unusually dry summer was hit by the worst winter storm in history. The case exemplifies some of the problems of preparedness and response in today's world.

BSI Research Seminar: Developing a dashboard for monitoring usability of educational games apps for children
Professor Nayeth Solorzano-Alcivar will present the first results of an extensive and longitudinal multidisciplinary research carried out with children from 4 to 8 years attending schools of marginal areas in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador to measure the behavioural use of games apps and the influence of previous knowledge about digital educational games.
