Interested in a user-friendly digital toolkit for searching, preparing and analysing Gale's Primary Source content or your own textual data? Join us for an introduction to the Gale Digital Scholar Lab, a platform used to explore and analyse historical content from Gale's databases. Users can also upload their own textual content for analysis using the pattern analysis tools in the Lab, or cross analyse with data from Gale's archives. The workshop will begin with a brief overview of the platform and subscribed Gale Primary Source collections followed by some hands-on practice using the lab. Attendees will learn how to perform searches, manage data sets, apply analysis tools, and create visualised results in the Digital Scholar Lab. All disciplines welcome and no coding skills required.
