Finding references to your publications in policy documents can be a useful way to demonstrate how research has influenced policy or the course of action in a particular field.
During this bite-sized session, library specialists will demonstrate :
• databases to locate policy citations
• finding policy citations for individual publications.
Audience: The session is most suitable for researchers planning to apply for grants in the coming year.
Workshop prerequisites: We will assume you have some basic knowledge of citation metrics. If you aren't sure, we recommend watching the video "Bibliometrics in under 2 minutes" by Leeds University Library.
On completion of this workshop, participants will be familiar with tools and strategies for finding policy citations for individual publications.
