The overarching goal of the MRFF is to improve lives through improved health care or health systems/services, build the economy, and contribute to health system sustainability. Those impacts can be achieved through a variety of means, such as changes to health policy, modification of clinical practice, or commercialisation. The MRFF seeks to ensure those pathways are informed by quality research, and therefore funds programs that have the potential to achieve those impacts. Every path to impact is distinct, requiring different processes, means of validation, milestones, and expertise. Considering how your research fits within that path - and ensuring it directly enables translation along that path - is key to implementation and impact. This seminar will help you understand and plan your path to impact, leading to improved proposal design and a stronger MRFF application.
