Why they are essential and how they can improve your project
The importance of effective engagement or partnering with consumers in health and medical research is increasingly recognised, and MRFF considers that "effective consumer involvement is important for building the quality, outcomes, relevance, impact and international competitiveness of MRFF-funded research."
But, what is "effective' consumer engagement? And how should you seek to involve consumers in developing a research proposal, drafting the MRFF proposal and in your research? This seminar will look at best practice for involving consumers in research and guide you in development of your consumer engagement strategy - from identifying consumers and making first contact through considering how that engagement might influence your research program and MRFF proposal.
