Dr Cecilie Haraldseid-Driftland will discuss the Resilience in Healthcare (RiH) project which seeks to shift the research focus from healthcare failures to the overwhelming majority of healthcare processes with successful outcomes, to determine how high quality is generated in everyday clinical work across different healthcare systems, and develop learning tools that can support and strengthen such efforts.

Care homes for older adults are a complex environment where digital information technology transforms traditional care. In this presentation Sofia Thunberg will address how decision makers in Swedish municipalities goes from idea to introduction of social robots, how care workers are affected by these introductions and how they adjust to their new tasks handling social robots, as well as benefits and implications for older adults when introducing social robots into their lives.
