Overview

When considering learning and teaching data, the Ladder of Inference can be used to become more aware of your own thinking and reasoning, make your thinking and reasoning more visible to others and allow you to inquire into others' thinking and reasoning about the data.

Following the sequential steps of reasoning on the Ladder of Inference will lead you to reasoned conclusions that are based on observable data.

• Apply the steps from the Ladder of Inference in making reasoned conclusions about observable learning and teaching data
